How it's made

Cartoon
A full-size cartoon is drawn and transferred to backing material.

Tile selection
Smalti and art glass is selected tile by tile — color, direction, and reflectivity are specified for each area.

Assembly & installation
Pieces are set on mesh in-studio, then transported and installed with specialty adhesive.
